As a Warehouse Attendant, you will be responsible for filling customer orders by packing, labelling and shipping finished goods and or accessories. The Attendant will ensure received shipments are verified and received according to the appropriate process. This position requires you to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Inspect received goods for shipping damage. Unpack and check for accuracy in material and quantity received against packing list for shipment
• Accurately enter quantities of received goods into computer system. Notify the Warehouse Manager immediately (or in their absence, the Purchasing Department) of inventory items that fall below the quantities needed for filling assembly floor orders
• Warehouse all received goods as soon as possible, ideally within one working day of receipt. Material received will be stored in proper containers, with proper identification and proper location. Handle paperwork according to receiving procedure.
• Fill material orders (Work Orders) for issuance to the assembly floor on the scheduled day of issuance unless otherwise agreed to by the Department Supervisor.
• Perform “Cycle Count” activity as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of warehouse and/or shipping and receiving experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

The position requires mobility, bending, reaching above shoulder level, and frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. This position requires the use of standalone ladder, pallet jack and electric forklift. This person is exposed to significant temperature changes during the winter months, and may be exposed to dust and automotive exhaust. These physical requirements must be performed with or without accommodation.
