30,000 people will attend the summit at the Bella Center in Copenhagen (maximum 18,000 participants at any one time). Over 100 Heads of State and Ministers of Climate and Environment are expected to be present on December 16th to 18th, including President Barack Obama. 2,500 meetings will be held during the two-week conference. 2,500 Bosch delegate microphones are installed in 40 meeting rooms. 6,000 Bosch Integrus receivers with headphones are in use during the conference. 45 technicians and supervisors are involved in the installation and operation of the Bosch conference equipment.
 
The UN Climate Change Conference (COP15) takes place at the 77,000-square-meter Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark from 7th to 18th December. On the first day, press were informed that COP15 is the largest meeting ever held by the UN. It is estimated that 2,500 large and small meetings will be held during the conference.
 
COP15 will attract over 100 Heads of State and other VIPs, including U.S. President Barack Obama; Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France; Hosni Mubarak, President of Egypt; Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel; and Connie Hedegaard, Denmark’s Climate and Energy Minister and President of the Conference.
 
As befits such a major event, state-of-the-art conferencing equipment is absolutely essential, and Bosch Security Systems was selected as supplier.
 
The conference equipment supplied by Bosch Security Systems includes 2,500 delegate microphones mainly of type DCN Next Generation, DCN Next Generation Simultaneous Interpretation equipment in two large plenary rooms and five other meeting rooms; Integrus receivers to enable delegates to listen to interpretations. Furthermore, the central Bosch equipment consists of 50 Central Control Units, several external power supplies and audio expanders.

In addition, in the 1100-seat Press Center, journalists can monitor the plenary rooms and listen to proceedings by using the Integrus Wireless Infrared Receivers and headphones from Bosch. In a few rooms CCS 800 Ultro microphone equipment from Bosch has also been installed.
