The camera is ideal for large, outdoor, multi-camera applications, such as marine or coastal settings, industrial or utility sites, and transportation hubs.
The camera's rugged, vandal-resistant construction includes an IP 68-rated aluminum casing. Allowing no dust ingress and withstanding sustained periods of immersion under water, the MIC Series 500 Camera exceeds even the most rigorous quality and performance requirements.
The new camera series is designed for easy specification, installation and set-up. It can be mounted upright, inverted, or canted without special tools and without compromising the camera's IP rating. This capability simplifies project planning and provides increased flexibility for installation.
Universal camera set-up software provides access to diagnostic tools, advanced configuration options, and protocol programming. Camera settings can be copied and uploaded to multiple MIC Series cameras in one step, making customization and configuration of large scale camera installations quick and easy. For programming a single camera, the MIC Series 500 has a user-friendly on-screen display that provides access to all the settings required to configure and operate the camera.
The high-resolutions wide-dynamic range camera adapts easily to changing light conditions and offers a choice of 18x and 36x zoom options. The camera rotates at speeds up to 120 degrees per second and provides operators a full 360-degree view. Precision-engineered resolver technology enables pinpoint camera accuracy and absolute positioning, while the brushless-motor ensures reliable, whisper-quiet operation.
