Electro-Voice and GB Leighton to play free fundraiser at new Minnesota performing arts center

(Burnsville, Minn., Oct. 7, 2009) Burnsville, Minn.-based professional audio equipment manufacturer Electro-Voice has announced that it will be joining forces with local rocker GB Leighton for a free fundraising concert event at the new Burnsville Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Nov. 17th.

“We wanted to put on a community event with a real local flavor,” says Mike Doucot of Electro-Voice. “We’re proud to be a Burnsville-based company, and GB Leighton is a member of our family of endorsers, as well being a mainstay of the regional music scene. Add the fact that the Burnsville Performing Arts Center has one of the best installed sound systems in the Twin Cities Metro, all-Electro-Voice products, of course, and this will be a great way to kick off the holiday season.”

This free show will benefit Burnsville area nonprofit agency Community Action Council. Non-perishable food donations to stock the Emergency Food Shelf will be very much appreciated. Showtime is 6-8 p.m with capacity limited to 1,000.
