Coworth Park, the new multi-million pound five-star hotel and spa in the Dorchester Collection, has opened in Berkshire, some 20 miles west of London, England. Set in 240 acres of picturesque parkland on the borders of Windsor Great Park, Coworth Park is reinventing the concept of the country house hotel for the 21st century. Its understated luxury facilities include the use of Electro-Voice loudspeakers, amplifiers, and processors in a venue-wide audio-visual design that combines creativity and flexibility with exceptional sound quality and consistent coverage.
Coworth Park boasts a total of nine discreet yet linkable systems, matrixed with custom cable and aerial distribution systems stretching over 90 m back to central rack and processing centres. Four areas of the hotel complex rely heavily on background music and speech reinforcement systems, notably the public areas and event rooms in the Tower House, The Barn, the eco-luxury Spa at Coworth Park, and the main Mansion House. One of the jewels in the Coworth Park crown is the fine-dining restaurant, John Campbell at Coworth Park.
For small-sized events and business functions, Coworth Park has the Tower House, a dedicated private events room.
Coworth Park’s complex system demonstrates the capability of IRIS-Net control and supervision software, which not only controlled the audio but all the AV functions as well.
