LOCK AND LOAD Liberty AV Solutions set to ship Installer’s Choice equipment enclosures As part of its newly-expanded catalog of products designed to provide the professional AV industry with the tools they need to maintain an edge in today's market, Liberty AV Solutions is now shipping a line of premium rack enclosures built with ease-of-assembly, quality, and affordability in mind. Comprising the Snaprax, Performance, and Titan Series, the three distinct product groups are manufactured by Des Plaines, Illinois-based Installer’s Choice, a firm that has designed and built enclosure systems for some of the world’s largest companies and organizations for more than 65 years. Providing installers with the quickest and most efficient means to assemble a flexible and sturdy equipment enclosure on-site, each Snaprax Series model is fully customizable to meet unique needs of all description. “If an installer arrives at a job site and discovers that the space for his equipment enclosure is noticeably shorter than what was described in the spec, they can simply cut off the top of the rack channels, then snap the top section right back into place,” says Installer’s Choice President George Semrad, commenting upon just one of many of the racks’ malleable features that make them adaptable to just about any application. “These racks go together quickly and easily using four bolts on the top and four bolts on the bottom. We’ve challenged people to try to put them together wrong, and they simply couldn’t.” For applications in which field assembly isn’t as critical of an issue, the Installer’s Choice Performance Series offers a line of affordable, high-quality welded racks. “Strength is an inherent feature of the Performance Series,” Semrad explains. “They are built to allow you to load them up with gear back at the shop, then transport them to the job site ready to connect to your cabling.” Moving up to the next level, the Titan Series is aptly named. Offering over 5,500 pounds of capacity, these top-of-the-line welded models provide installers with the widest range of sizes, door styles, and accessories offered within all three series of racks. To better facilitate efforts to build the best rack systems possible, options available for Installer’s Choice enclosures include six door styles, drawers, cable management products, media storage solutions, vented side panels, shelves, faceplates, cooling fans and much more. Formerly known as Liberty Wire & Cable, the new Liberty AV Solutions debuted earlier this year with a name that better expresses the company’s ongoing commitment to customers and move into new markets. In addition to the Installer’s Choice racks, Liberty AV now also offers a line of digital components from Intelix built to streamline the transition from analog to digital, Tripp Lite power protection, and satellite connectivity products from Holland Electronics. About Liberty AV Solutions (formerly Liberty Wire & Cable) Liberty AV Solutions is recognized as a leading contract manufacturer of AV integration products.
