OmniMount Adds Cantilevers to its Low Profile Series of Flat Panel Mounts
Posted on Monday, December 21, 2009

The new cantilever mounts provide the greater functionality and versatility of a full motion mount yet still maintain a compact and discreet design.

Phoenix, AZ – December 21, 2009 –OmniMount, dedicated to being a one-stop shop for professional products, recently introduced four cantilever mounts to their popular Low Profile Series. The cantilever models are the latest addition to the company’s remarkably slim profile fixed and tilt flat panel mounts – the line now a full line of mounting solutions, including fixed, tilt and cantilever for the ultimate in installation flexibility.

Today, more and more flat panel manufacturers are striving to achieve the thinnest possible video displays. OmniMount’s Low Profile Series is the perfect full-functionality accessory for these televisions by providing similar on-wall discretion so that the TV and mount together blend seamlessly into any viewing environment. The new cantilever option provides additional functionality as its arms extend away from the wall and allows the user to tilt, pan and swivel the flat panel to optimize viewing from any seat or for multiple viewing areas.

The Low Profile Series collectively provides a size, price point and application to satisfy the demands of any consumer. The new cantilever solutions, as well as its fixed and tilt siblings, are available in medium (LPHDM-C), large (LPHDL-C), and extra-large sizes (LPHDX-C) to support flat panels from 23 to 42 inches, 37 to 55 inches and 42 to 75 inches, respectively, all the way up to 250 pounds. Optional cable covers in three colors (stainless steel, scarlet and carbon fiber) are available as an accessory for those interested in customizing their mount (LPCC-M, LPCC-L and LPCC-X). A fourth, smaller cantilever solution (LPHDS-C) for flat panels ranging from 13 to 32 inches and weighing up to 50 pounds, was also added to the line, with kitchens and home offices in mind (cable covers not available for this product).

The Low Profile Series is manufactured with the best quality standards in the industry including durability and design. Offering a sleek and slim design without compromising functionality, the cantilever model features a steel tube double arm construction for maximum strength and durability. Each of OmniMount’s low profile mounts are made from heavy-grade steel, have a durable black powder coat finish and include extruded aluminum end caps that present a clean side view. The series also includes all the features installers are accustomed to from OmniMount: ‘Lift n’ Lock’ for easy installation, locking system for added safety and security, sliding lateral on-wall adjustment, universal rails for maximum flat panel compatibility, open architecture for simplified wiring and an easy-to-use installation template.

To make mounting and wiring flat panels even easier, the cantilever arm was designed with integrated cable management. All the wires can be neatly fed through the arm, keeping wires out of sight and also protecting them when the cantilever is moved into its multiple viewing angles.
