SHARP’S EXPANDED AQUOS BOARD INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS OFFER EFFORTLESS WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION FOR EVERY BUDGET

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC) is proud to announce the release of two new premium-grade AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems, the 70" Class (69.5" diagonal) PN-L703W display and the 60" Class (60.5" diagonal) PN-L603W display, as well as the new value-priced 60" Class (60.1" diagonal) PN-C603D display. The two new premium models come with built-in wireless capability, allowing for an unprecedented level of secure collaboration.

“With these latest expansions to the award-winning AQUOS BOARD interactive display line, Sharp offers the widest range of its models and sizes to date, at varying price points, to meet a diverse set of customer requirements,” said Mike Marusic, senior vice president, marketing, operations and services, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. &ldquoFrom the classroom to board room, the new Sharp AQUOS BOARD interactive displays are raising the bar for collaborative experience.”

A New Level of Wireless Collaboration

Available in both a 60" Class and 70" Class model, the premium-grade line AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems are designed for 24/7 use. The wireless technology makes it easy to conduct efficient, collaborative meetings by allowing users to present content on the AQUOS BOARD interactive display directly from their mobile devices without the need for adapters, cables or even pre-installed software.

The displays&rsquo wireless capability not only transmits the video signal, but it also wirelessly transmits the audio signal and even the touch signal. It also helps to create a more secure environment by broadcasting its own wireless hotspot to avoid accessing the corporate network.

The full HD AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems offer several other features devoted to creating a better meeting space:

  • Seamlessly works with major mobile platforms: including iOS®, AndroidI™, Windows® and OS X, to insure cross platform independence. And, ChromeI™ browser support is coming later this year.
  • Quick, easy access for that unexpected presenter: Just plug in the included wireless token to quickly begin presenting without having to pre-install any software.
  • Tools that let users present together: A 2 x 2 Split-Screen mode lets up to four people wirelessly transmit their mobile screens to the AQUOS BOARD interactive display at the same time.
  • Applications for faster thinking: Users can capture ideas on the fly using its Direct Drawing function and the new Overlay tool, which allows AQUOS BOARD interactive display users to create notes or annotate over wirelessly transmitted documents, webpages, or even videos.
