Compact, affordable 2 Channel (2 in & out) Interface for network audio installations
Sonora, CA – September 2013… Stewart Audio, manufacturer of the finest quality American made amplifiers for legacy or network applications, is pleased to introduce the NETAV I/O 2X2 for Dante networks. This state of the art network bridge is a digital on & off ramp for networked audio applications using the Dante™ protocol. With two balanced analog inputs (line level, Mic and available 24V phantom power) that are automatically encoded, any analog audio signal can be made available to the network. By the same token any Dante™ signal on the network can be converted to an analog output (2 channels) for use by legacy devices requiring an analog signal. Gain and phantom power are configurable via a simple DIP switch on the back of the unit.
Brian McCormick, Chief Marketing Officer for Stewart Audio, commented on the company’s new bridge product offering. “The Stewart Audio NETAV I/O 2X2 is the first simple and affordable low channel count Dante™ product using Audinate’s Ultimo platform,” said McCormick. “This product will allow small and medium venues to leverage digital audio networks at a scale and price that finally makes sense. Typically Dante products were designed for large venues and priced accordingly, that’s changing rapidly. It’s compact size and mounting options enables it to be located at the audio source or next to the output device. And with a set and forget design, installation is simple and fast. Made in America, this bridge product delivers first-rate audio quality and is backed by a comprehensive 3 year warranty.”
